Floating pneumatic rubber fenders, also known as Yokohama fenders or Yokohama-type pneumatic fenders, are constructed from synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheets filled with compressed air. The internal air allows them to float on water while absorbing shock between vessels (ship-to-ship) or between ships and berthing structures.
All Doowin Marine Yokohama type floating pneumatic rubber fenders are manufactured and tested in full compliance with ISO 17357 standards.
