Product Description
The spherical buoy is a representative pick-up buoy available in spherical or oval shapes. Featuring a vertical steelwork construction through its center, these buoys can be supplied with swivel ends or other custom end fitting designs.
Constructed with resilient closed-cell polyethylene/EVA foam around the inner central steelwork and covered by a polyurethane (PU) outer skin, these buoys offer exceptional durability. The foam core ensures self-fendering and unsinkable performance even when damaged, while the self-colored polyurethane elastomer skin provides resistance to abrasion and UV degradation.
For extreme service environments, the polyurethane elastomer skin can be reinforced with nylon for enhanced tear strength, resulting in a long-lasting, virtually maintenance-free buoy.
